I followed the prompts to update my U3 2.0 GB micro flashdrive. I did NOT back up the files (it said it would back it up too). When it finished, it said I had not formatted my disk. I had always been told that formatting erased all info so I said "No". Now there is nothing on my flashdrive. I searched for my files and found all that had a common name in a temp file. But I can't figure out how to access that temp file to recover all the other files -- I assume they might still be there. the path says c: Doc & Set: Cheryl: Appl Data: U3: temp: 489096d50: doc: Port: Standard.... I can get to c: Doc & Set: Cheryl: but then the rest is not available. The rest of the documents have random names that I don't know so I can't search for them. HELP! This is my teacher electronic portfolio; I don't want to start over!!!
